Getting Out of DebtCopyright© Thierry Goho http://www.gohomoney.comMany people rely on credit cards without realizing how quickly they can spiral into debt. Eventually they get to the point where they have to make the minimum pages each month, and sometimes even that is a struggle. The payments become too much to bear and they are so far in debt they think they will never get out. If this sounds like you, do not despair. There is a solution out there, a solution you have probably seen advertised almost as much as you see credit card advertisements. It is called consolidated debt counseling, and it has gotten many people successfully out of debt. An experienced and licensed debt counselor can be the life jacket you need to stay afloat in a time when your credit debt is threatening to pull you under. So much so that one of the major debt counseling firms uses just such imagery in their advertisements. These counselors can guide you through the programs that make sense for your situation, and which ones you should avoid. There are a plethora of programs out there designed for nothing more than to take advantage of those in need of assistance. A qualified debt counselor can help separate the wheat from the chaff and keep you from maki9ng things worse for yourself. For good reason, many people resist the idea of finding a program that promises to get them out of debt in a hurry. For all of the genuine services out there, there are three that are solely there to take you for a ride. A good debt counselor can help you determine which is which. It can be difficult for one drowning in debt to see the silver lining to the thundercloud that has taken over their financial life. An objective debt counselor will give you the information you need in the form of facts and professional recommendations, unclouded by the emotion you may be feeling in this time of struggle. While a debt counselor can be an invaluable service to you and offer you many resources, its up to you to take the advice given and follow the strategy lined out for you. For many, this is the hardest part of all. Many people become so accustomed to buying whatever they want that they have a difficult time thinking about a life without credit cards. Unfortunately there is no magic way out of debt. It takes hard work and perseverance, but a debt counselor can provide a helping hand. Since you do not want to live your whole life in debt you will have to find the willpower it takes to stop spending and follow a financial strategy. While counseling can help, your financial future depends upon you.

Common Advertising Mistakes and How to Avoid ThemCopyright© Thierry Goho http://www.gohomoney.comThere is an old saying in the advertising industry: The best advertisement is the one that offends no one. The person who said the quote has been lost to history, and perhaps the quote itself should suffer the same fate. While many people still create their ads with this line of thinking, the fact is that it is ineffective. The end result of this kind of thinking is a bland, unclear, and generic advertisement that will not bring new customers in the door. Instead of worrying about how not to offend customers, advertisers should be thinking about how to entice new customers. One of the biggest mistakes companies make when they create an advertisement is to copy what everyone else is doing. This forces a homogeneous, boring advertisement that will do nothing to bring in new business. Yes, the advertisements may sound professional, but that should only be a concern if you are in the business of impressing your friends. Hopefully, that is not the case. If your businesses is to draw new customers with your ads, you need to remember the ads that have stuck in your mind from years past. Were they the ones that seemed to hit all the right notes and sounded professional and smooth? Or were they the ones that went outside the box and surprised you with something you did not expect? Chances are, it was the latter ones. Go and do likewise. Do not create an advertisement that promises unclear results. Giving empty promises like guarantees mean nothing unless you take the time in the ad to explain exactly what you mean by that guarantee. Using your ad to tell people you use patented Cal-Tron technology means nothing unless you explain to the viewer why that should be important to them. You only have a limited window of opportunity to make the most of your advertising dollar; do not waste it with information that does not connect to the customer in any meaningful way. With advertisements, it is important to be creative, but do not be so creative that you forget to sell your product. Entertainment is fine, but if that entertainment does nothing to persuade anyone to buy from you, then you might as well go make movies. A good way to find out what not to do when it comes to advertising is to watch a couple of hours of MTV (if you can stand it). Their station advertisements are very creative, and they do say MTV at the end, but otherwise they have nothing to do with anything. Unless the objective is simply to persuade viewers to watch the channel in the hopes of seeing more strange advertising, the ads are worthless. Advertising can be a complicated process, but with research, time, and a lot of creativity, you can create ads that will draw customers in to your business. Remember that even an advertisement that people hate will not keep them away from your business. In fact, ads that stick in viewers minds can be the most effective of all. You want to create brand recognition, something that will make your ad play in the viewers head when it is well off the air. Some might say, I will not shop there because I hate their ads, but few would follow through on that promise. Create ads with ingenuity and originality in mind, and ignore the old and outdated advice.

Are You Ready to Run a Business?Copyright© Thierry Goho http://www.gohomoney.comStarting a business is a dream for many people to most it means getting out of a 9 to5 routine and having the freedom to do whatever they want. If this sounds like you, it may be time to have a close look at yourself and make sure you have the tools and resources to take this big step. As much as you may have dreamed of starting your own business, the fact of the matter is that not everyone is a born entrepreneur. Before you quit your day job, take the time to ask yourself some questions and make sure that owning your own business is the right career path for you. The first thing you need to be aware of is the amount of sheer money it will take to start your business. Even if your plans are limited to a simple website, you will need capital to produce your product, and you will need money to market your business. Besides that, most businesses do not make money in the first year or so of operation. So you will need to have enough money saved up to support yourself and your family while you are waiting for your business to turn a profit. One of the questions that finds itself onto just about every application for any job in America is Are you self motivated? This is a question you are going to need to answer honestly this time, if no other. If you are the type of person that has to be gently nudged to do the things that need to be done, then self employment is not for you. The cultivation and operation of a small business is entirely dependant on the work you put into it. No one is going to hold your hand or tell you to do this or do that. It will be all up to you. Make sure you have it inside to motivate yourself to complete these tasks. Most importantly, you should sure you are not going into business for yourself for the wrong reasons. Some people mistakenly think that self employment particularly when it involves a home business is akin to winning the lottery. They envision this world where they work one or two hours a day and then go out and play on the beach or crash on the couch and watch television. Please do not believe this is what you will be doing. If you think you work too many hours now, just wait until you own your own business. Entrepreneurship takes more hours in a week than you put into your day job in two. Now, of course, if your small business consists of something you have a passion for and love doing, then there will not be any trouble with that. Just do not get the idea that running your own business will free up plenty of time to play video games. While there are other things to consider before starting your own business, if you have satisfied the above concerns you are probably ready to take that leap into the world of self employment. On the other hand, if you have read the above and decided it is not for you, you should not despair. There is nothing wrong with steady employment and the security and benefits that it brings. What is most important is that you are doing something you enjoy and that will bring you the freedom you want from a job.

Six Mistakes to Avoid When Presenting Your Network Marketing Business OpportunityCopyright© Thierry Goho http://www.gohomoney.comThere are six mistakes to avoid when presenting your network marketing business opportunity. Six problems that will turn off a potential audience, even if it is packed to ceiling with only highly qualified leads. Six errors in judgment that will cost you potential customers and candidates for your down line alike; any of these you may commit without even realizing it! Conversely, learning from your mistakes and avoiding them judiciously quite possibly will spell success for the next marketing presentation you hold! 1. At the top of the list of mistakes to avoid when presenting your network marketing business opportunity is the use of boastful statements. Even though in the past they were considered a useful tool to showcase how a person from humble circumstances was able to make a killer living simply by following the business model being touted to such an extent that she or he is now strutting about on a stage explaining how great they are. Forget this piece of advice! It does not work! Instead, the audience is markedly turned off by a lack of humility and by a consistent amount of boasting. While the audience may be too polite to leave, and while they may even be mildly entertained by your antics, your boastfulness will not result in any sales. 2. Next is the overuse of the word I. Explaining a network marketing business opportunity from a personal point of view is great, but making it into a presentation about you is counterproductive in that it will not help you to reach the audience members individually. Remember, you are trying to find out why emotional needs have to be met for them to consider buying into the program, thus a lecture about your emotional needs will not be productive. 3. The death knell of any presentation are tepid jokes, boring stories, or worse yet, the kinds of jokes and stories that everyone knows are coming from an Internet joke site but instead are being presented as the own creations of the speaker. 4. Avoid at all costs racial, gender, and religious stereotypes. Not only are these kinds of statements offensive, but they also fail to treat audience members as individuals separate from a group and thus you will fail miserably in your attempt at generating interest in your network marketing business opportunity. 5. Never underestimate the intelligence of your audience or talk down to them. If you explain marketing from the ground up, or when selling a wellness product launch into an explanation why it is important to be healthy, you will lose the interest of those who are already informed about the concept of a network marketing business opportunity involving a wellness product – which is pretty much everyone. 6. Refuse to regurgitate information. A standby of these who are afraid of public speaking, the simple recounting of the sales brochure to such an extent that the audience can read along is not only off-putting but will not enable the listener to get to know you and build that trust relationship with you. The latter is vital when you are seeking qualified candidates for your down line!
